MEMBERSHIPS
There are four (6) types of membership options available with the ACHC - Family ($30), Individual($20), Senior($15) and Student($15). A family is with children up to 18 years old. Your membership will be valid from January 1st to December 31st of the current year. Any memberships paid for after January 1st will still expire on December 31st of the current year. Your paid membership entitles you to vote on issues put forth for member approval. Membership fees are:
This membership card is for any public family that have an interest in Haitian Culture, with the ability to cast votes during monthly meetings and elections.
Eligibility: Honorary Membership is granted to individuals who have chosen to adopt and embrace Haitian culture, regardless of their ethnic background. This includes people who have made significant contributions to the AHAC
Annual Fee: Honorary Members are also required to pay an annual membership fee, unless waived by the Board of Directors.
Rights: Honorary Members have the same rights as Regular Members, including the right to vote, but cannot hold any executive position, and participate in all activities and programs of the AHAC.
This membership card is for individuals that are either partnered, married, or are a of Haitian descent. This will provide you with the ability to vote, provide board membership eligibility.
Qualifications
Eligibility: Regular Membership is open to individuals who are of Haitian descent, spouses or partners of individuals of Haitian descent, or parents of children of Haitian descent.
Annual Fee: Regular Members are required to pay an annual membership fee, the amount of which is determined by the Board of Directors.
Rights: Regular Members in good standing have the right to vote, hold office, and participate in all activities and programs of the AHAC.
